This literary event, celebrating a decade of history, invites writers of all ages, from 10 years old to adults, to participate with unpublished works on any theme. Each participant may submit only one story, which must not have received previous awards.
Submission requirements include texts in DIN-A4 format, with Arial 12 font, double-spaced, a maximum length of five pages, and three-centimeter margins. Works must be submitted electronically via an online form, and participants must attach the story in PDF format with title, pseudonym, and category on the cover, along with a digital copy of their identification document.
The deadline for submissions is May 18, 2026. The competition is structured into five age categories, from category A (10-11 years old) to category E (18 years and older). For each category, the jury will award a winner and a finalist, with the possibility of granting honorable mentions or leaving some awards vacant.
Prizes include economic endowments, with a maximum of 2,200 euros in the adult category, book vouchers, graphic tablets, and other cultural gifts.
This edition's jury comprises renowned figures from the literary and cultural world, such as Pep Albanell, resident author of Biblioteca Sant Agustí; Isidre Domenjó, writer and president of the Associació Llibre del Pirineu; Lourdes Esteve, director of Biblioteca Sant Agustí; Genisa G. Carricondo, narrator and actress; Sònia Mataró and Núria Vilarrubla, booksellers from El Refugi Kanalla bookstore; Mireia Pellicer, a previous award winner; Marta Pujantell, director of RàdioSeu; Isabel Rodríguez and Núria Soler, educators; and Montse Rollán, librarian at Biblioteca Josep Finestres de Cervera.
The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 13, at 12 noon at the Biblioteca Sant Agustí. The winning stories will be read on RàdioSeu's 'Niu de contes' program, directed by Montse Rollán. Additionally, the 'Il·lustrem' project continues, where ESO students from Joan Brudieu and La Valira institutes, and the Escola Municipal d'Art, will illustrate the winning story. A children's story writing workshop led by writer Pol Castellanos has also been organized.
