A total of 140 secondary school students from Alt Urgell participated this Thursday in the 10th edition of the Multilingual Dictation Contest held at the Les Monges Cultural Center.

The event aims to promote linguistic accuracy and writing skills among young people. The tests took place at the Official Language School and the Municipal School of Music in La Seu d'Urgell.
Students from 1st to 3rd year of ESO represented schools such as Joan Brudieu Institute, La Valira Institute, La Salle, and Oliana School Institute. Working in pairs, they selected their best work to be judged for the fewest spelling mistakes.
This year's theme focused on animals, featuring texts in Catalan, Spanish, English, and French. The competition was organized by the Alt Urgell County Council and the La Seu d'Urgell Town Council.
