The festival, organized by the Fundació Planes Corts, has established itself as a significant cultural event in the Pyrenean regions. The program includes concerts, workshops, artistic installations, a craft market, and gastronomy.
Notable is the performance by singer-songwriter Roger Mas on Saturday, September 12th at 9 PM in the Sant Vicenç church. The opening concert will be on Friday, September 11th at 8 PM with the jazz duo formed by Celeste Alias and Santi Careta. The group Ribatònics will also perform in the plaça de la Font Vella.
Traditional music will be featured with workshops on the rabequet, led by Jordi Maria Macaya, and on improvised song with Pep Lizandra and Allona Riera. The Moixons del Segre will offer a procession of flabiol and drum players on Sunday morning.
Entertainment will be provided by the Cabaret Pagès of Esperanceta de Casa Gassia on Saturday in the plaça Major. On Sunday, Improvistos Krusy Show will offer a circus workshop and performance, followed by the trio Swing Boopers to close the festival.
Around thirty Pyrenean artists will reinterpret chicken feeders, which will be exhibited throughout the streets of Estamariu. The Espai Joan Planes will host an exhibition by the collective l'Aparador. There will also be a craft market and new games designed by carpenter Pep Rafanell.
Gastronomy will have a space in the plaça Major with stalls and a guided cheese tasting led by Aleix Solé. Oenologist Bernat Feliu will propose a pairing with the wine KADINO from Vinyes d'Estamariu.
The literary sphere is strengthened with a Catalan and Occitan poetry recital on Saturday at the Santa Cecília church, featuring participants such as Ramon Besora and Meritxell Nus. The book Bajo el mismo cielo by Paco Boya will be presented at the Cal Parramon Library, which will also host a children's storytelling session.
Nature-focused activities include a guided ornithological outing by Jordi Dalmau and a Forest Bathing session led by Teresa Ruiz. Visitors can also tour the Sant Vicenç church with guide Albert Villaró and participate in a paper bird origami workshop.
