The decision was made last Friday, where the candidate was confirmed as an aspirant for the mayoralty of the capital of Alt Urgell. Following her election, the candidate expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in her and described her candidacy as a significant "personal challenge."

The candidate's political project will focus on three main pillars: improving housing, promoting sports, and fostering the Catalan language. Currently, the candidate serves as a councilor in the La Seu d'Urgell city council and holds a position in the national secretariat of Small Municipalities and EMD within ERC's national executive.

This election represents a historic event for the party in the locality, as it is the first time a woman has headed an ERC list for municipal elections in La Seu d'Urgell. The candidate replaces the current republican municipal spokesperson, who will not be running again on the electoral lists.
