The town of Estamariu, in Alt Urgell, becomes an artistic meeting point during Easter Week with a collective exhibition showcasing the talent of six local creators. The exhibition, promoted by the Fundació Planes Corts, will be open to visitors at Espai Joan Planes from April 2 to April 6.
This cultural initiative coincides with a period of high visitor and tourist influx to the area, offering an opportunity to promote both the exhibition space and the artistic production of the Alt Urgell region. Participating artists offer diverse perspectives on the local landscape and life.
In the field of painting, the exhibition includes works by Joan Albinyà, Josep Albinyà, Montse Armengol, Marc Riguillo, and Lurdes Casanova. Additionally, Assumpció Albinyà participates with a unique proposal: compositions made with wooden houses, cardboard, and figures, adding a sculptural and artisanal dimension to the overall display.
These cultural activities are part of our commitment to revitalizing the territory and fostering life in the villages of Alt Urgell.
Espai Joan Planes is the multipurpose hall of the Fundació Planes Corts, an entity whose objective is to retain population and ensure the quality of life in the municipalities of Estamariu and Bescaran. The organization emphasizes that events like this exhibition are fundamental for the cultural and social revitalization of the region.
