The Fira Carcolze held its seventh edition last Saturday, August 15th, with cheese as the main star. This year marked a significant change, as it was the first time the event took place in Arsèguel, Alt Urgell, after seven years in Castellnou de Carcolze.
Organizers have highly praised the visitor turnout, which was strong from early morning. Although afternoon rain forced an earlier closure than planned, both organizers and vendors expressed satisfaction with the day and eagerness to repeat next year.
The fair featured 12 cheese producers, one more than the previous edition. Additionally, other agri-food products such as jams, bread, craft beer, wine, and cava were available. The event offers tasting options through ticket purchases and features live music to entertain attendees.
The change of location was driven by the fair's consistent growth in visitors and its increasing popularity over the years.
