The La Seu d'Urgell City Council approved on Monday the project to pave the road connecting the village of Castellciutat and the Balcó del Pirineu residential area.

The local government has technically validated the project, which has an execution budget of 129,214 euros. The goal is to have the project ready for immediate execution once the necessary funding is secured.

"This road is in very poor condition due to recent heavy rains and action is needed, as it already carries significant traffic despite being a dirt road."

Joan Barrera · Mayor of La Seu d'Urgell
Additionally, the council has moved forward with the construction of a new access road between Castellciutat and the N-260 highway. This long-awaited project is expected to receive final approval from the Urban Planning Commission in the coming weeks.
