Nearly seventy string students from the municipal music schools of la Seu d'Urgell, Berga, Puigcerdà, and Pallars will gather this Saturday, March 14th, in the capital of Alt Urgell.

The educational and musical event will bring together elementary-level students of violin, viola, cello, and double bass. During the morning, participants will join four thematic workshops: younger students will explore a musical tale, while older students will form a creative orchestra.
The program also includes an interdisciplinary activity merging painting and classical music. Young artists will express on canvas the feelings evoked by listening to Spring from Antonio Vivaldi's famous The Four Seasons.
For this fourth edition, the Itinerant Music and Dance School of Pallars has joined the project, strengthening the collaborative network between the four Pyrenean regions that began during the 2022-2023 academic year.
The event will conclude with a public performance at 4:00 PM at Plaça de les Monges. Students will perform traditional pieces from their hometowns along with four joint musical works.
