The incident occurred shortly before eleven in the morning, when emergency services received the alert. Two units from the Fire Department quickly responded to the scene to assist with the rescue operations.

Emergency Medical System (SEM) personnel were supported by the Fire Department in moving the victim to the ambulance. Subsequently, the man was evacuated in serious condition by medical helicopter to Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Lleida.

Concurrently, the Fire Department inspected the fiber cement roof where the fall took place. To ensure the animals' safety, ramps were installed to help the goats descend from the roof without risk.
