The Menja't l'Alt Urgell association celebrates its tenth anniversary this 2026, established as a benchmark for artisan production in the Alt Urgell region and a pioneer in Catalonia.

The entity, founded in early 2016, has prepared a commemorative program that will run throughout the year. Key initiatives include two monthly raffles: a product hamper and an experience to visit the farms, workshops, or shops of the members. These promotions will take place at their establishments in Plaça Patalín in la Seu d'Urgell and the Charter supermarket in Montferrer.

"They have set out to thank everyone for their support throughout all this time."

The project was a pioneer in Catalonia, and its model has been adopted by other regions to promote local food. Currently, the association includes thirty members who actively collaborate in events such as the Festa Major de la Seu or the Sant Ermengol Fair.
Throughout this decade, Menja't l'Alt Urgell has overcome critical moments such as the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. To conclude the anniversary, the entity plans to organize a large festival open to the public with music and food tastings on a date yet to be confirmed.
