The Sant Lluís Mental Health Center in la Seu d'Urgell is scheduled to begin operations in early 2027, providing specialized care for residents of the Pyrenees and Andorra.

Promoted by the Bishopric of Urgell and managed by the Hermanas Hospitalarias Sant Boi Foundation, the center is located in the historic Seminari building. The facility spans 5,800 square meters and includes a large outdoor area of nearly 5,000 square meters currently under renovation.

"The goal is to normalize people in their lives in an open regime, where they freely leave the community and participate in all activities."

Joan Orrit · Managing Director of Benito Menni Hermanas Hospitalarias
The center will feature an Àgora multidisciplinary space and will accommodate up to 97 people. Services will include hospitalization and residential care for mental health, brain damage, and palliative care. Bishop Josep-Lluís Serrano recently inspected the site, emphasizing that the project will prioritize hiring local professionals from the Alt Urgell region.
