The Institut Escola d'Oliana in Alt Urgell will introduce a new higher vocational training cycle in Transport and Logistics next year, marking a first for the Alt Pirineu i Aran region.

The program will offer 15 spots for students aiming to specialize in supply chain management and international trade. This educational milestone is the result of a partnership between the Government of Catalonia and the private sector, specifically the Taurus Group.

"This is a key sector for the economy where there is an increasing demand for qualified personnel."

Miquel Bringueret · Vocational Training Coordinator
The curriculum focuses on planning routes, warehouse management, and sustainable logistics. It aligns with industrial growth in nearby Organyà and La Seu d'Urgell, providing direct career paths for local youth.
Taurus Group expects to create up to 30 new jobs to support its European distribution network based in Oliana, highlighting the immediate practical impact of this new educational offering.
