The Miret i Sans school in Organyà will improve its accessibility with the installation of an elevator next academic year, an initiative fully funded by the Generalitat.

The Organyà town council has announced the upcoming installation of an elevator at the Miret i Sans school. This improvement, with an investment of 48,393 euros, addresses a long-standing demand from the educational community and families to remove architectural barriers within the school building.
The project has received approval from the Department of Education of the Generalitat and will be entirely funded by regional grants. As explained by the mayor, the elevator is expected to be operational for the new academic year, utilizing a space already planned during the school's original construction without requiring structural changes.
