Emergency services responded to more than 50 incidents in la Seu d'Urgell this Sunday, March 15, as wind gusts reached 84 km/h across the region.

The storm caused significant damage, including detached roofs and fallen trees in areas such as Horta del Valira. Local police and Bombers de la Generalitat have been working throughout the day to clear debris and ensure public safety in the Alt Urgell capital.
In the high mountains, wind speeds exceeded 150 km/h in Boí, while snow forced traffic restrictions on the Port del Cantó and other key routes connecting the Pyrenees. Drivers are required to use snow chains on several secondary roads due to ice and snow accumulation.
