Record Participation at the 8th Volta a Peramola of Cadí Circuit Fer

The eighth edition of the Volta a Peramola, the second event of the Cadí Circuit Fer, registered a historic record of 473 participants on Easter Saturday, benefiting from optimal weather conditions.

This race, which has already established itself as an unmissable event for mountain sports enthusiasts, exceeded all participation expectations, setting a new milestone in the circuit's history. The excellent weather was a key factor, benefiting both the runners and the event organizers.
The main event, with a route of 25 km and an elevation gain of 1,600 meters, attracted 116 athletes. This distance passes through emblematic landscapes such as Roc del Cogul, Sant Honorat, and Roca del Corb. In the men's category, the winners were Eduard Hernández, followed by Franc Rallo and Jordi Gallego. As for the women's category, the podium was occupied by Sílvia Puigarnau, Meritxell Roca, and Aizea Beraza.
In the 10 km modality, a total of 193 runners took the start, with David Rogé and Paula Mata as winners. The 5 km race-walk had the participation of 104 people, and the first to cross the finish line were Javier Díaz and Yureysi Noel. Additionally, the Circuit Fer Petit successfully debuted, with the same 5 km route and 60 participants, where Marc Manzano and Ona Calvet were the winners.
The next event of the Cadí Circuit Fer will be on April 25 in Castellbò, with the debut of the Mata-sants as a friendly race, promising to continue the success of participation and the sporting spirit that characterizes this circuit.
