Specifically, the filming focused on the work of the Unitat d'Atenció Intermèdia (Intermediate Care Unit) at Sant Hospital, which actively participated in the production. Center officials expressed satisfaction with the final result of the program.
Hospital de proximitat is a documentary series that received recognition in its first season, including the Zoom Award for best TV format in Catalan and the Zapping 2025 Award for best local TV program. The goal is to “show the vibrant daily life lived within the hospital walls,” featuring stories of suffering, joy, and hope.
