The Mossos d'Esquadra police force immobilized a school bus driver in la Seu d'Urgell on March 13 after he tested positive for cocaine and THC during a roadside check.

The incident occurred as part of a widespread inspection campaign targeting school transport across Catalonia. In la Seu d'Urgell, officers stopped the vehicle and conducted drug tests, which confirmed the presence of illegal substances in the driver's system.
A similar case was reported in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, where another driver also tested positive for cocaine. Both vehicles were immediately taken off the road to ensure the safety of the students on board.
Throughout the operation, police inspected 110 buses and issued 48 fines for various traffic and transport regulation violations, highlighting the ongoing efforts to maintain safety standards in student transportation.
