A group of teachers blocked the N-260 highway in la Seu d'Urgell this Wednesday morning, marking the third day of strikes organized to demand labor improvements from the Department of Education.

The protest in Alt Urgell is part of a broader movement affecting several regions. According to the Catalan Transit Service, disruptions began early in the morning on the A-2 near Lleida and in Alcarràs, where 150 protesters blocked the road.
Other significant blockades occurred on the C-55 in Manresa, the C-16 in Berga, and the C-59 in Moià. A slow-drive protest also took place on the Eix Transversal highway between Osona and Bages.
Official data from the Government indicates a 9.32% strike turnout in the Alt Pirineu and Lleida regions as of 9:30 AM, based on reports from 31.55% of local schools.
