Two individuals were taken to the La Seu d'Urgell Hospital on Sunday evening after a chimney fire broke out in a building in Fígols i Alinyà, located in the Alt Urgell region.

The Catalan Fire Department was alerted at 6:15 PM regarding a fire on Església Street. The blaze affected approximately six square meters of the building's roof before being brought under control by emergency crews.
Six fire engines from Coll de Nargó, Oliana, and La Seu d'Urgell were deployed to the scene. Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to inspect the structure and ensure the area was safe after performing cleanup and reinforcement checks.
The Medical Emergency Service (SEM) treated two people at the site for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. Both were reported to be in mild condition and were transferred to the regional hospital for further observation.
