The la Seu d'Urgell Town Council started water network improvement works this Monday, leading to traffic restrictions at the Bisbes Prínceps roundabout, a key entrance to the town.

The project aims to optimize water resources through network sectorization, which will enhance leak detection by monitoring flow and pressure. The affected area includes the junction of Valira Avenue, Valls d'Andorra Avenue, and Pau Claris Avenue.

"The intervention is for the greater good and its main goal is to optimize the city's water resources."

Joan Barrera · Mayor of la Seu d'Urgell
The total cost of the renovation is 418,256 euros, with nearly half funded by the Catalan Water Agency (ACA). Normal traffic flow is expected to resume by next Friday.
