The Catalan Traffic Service reported that a landslide caused traffic jams on the C-14 road, near Ribera d'Urgellet, starting early on Tuesday morning.

The incident, which took place shortly before 9 AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, is affecting traffic flow in both directions of the C-14 highway, one of the main routes in the Alt Urgell region.
Congestion is specifically concentrated between kilometer points 171 and 172, a stretch located near the town center of Ribera d'Urgellet.
The Servei Català de Trànsit (SCT) quickly implemented measures to minimize the impact, setting up an alternative route to allow vehicles to pass while maintenance crews work to clear the road and resolve the landslide incident.
