The Alta Ribagorça region has launched a Municipal Justice Office (OJM) and a new grief support service, both designed to bring essential services closer to its citizens.

Since the beginning of the month, L'Alta Ribagorça has had a Municipal Justice Office (OJM), an initiative by the Justice Department aimed at facilitating judicial procedures for residents. This office, staffed by two civil servants, is located on the third floor of the Pont de Suert Town Hall and is intended to be itinerant, serving various towns in the region.
Concurrently, the Consell de L'Alta Ribagorça has signed an agreement with the Ponent Grief Support Service to introduce a new emotional accompaniment service. This initiative seeks to offer specialized support to individuals undergoing processes of loss, whether due to the death of a loved one or other complex life situations.
The grief support service will be provided in person one Friday a month at the regional headquarters, offering a space for listening, guidance, and psychological support. The public presentation of this program will take place on May 13 with an open talk titled The Path of Grief, aimed at all citizens interested in learning about resources and tools to cope with grief. This project is part of an effort to strengthen the regional social care network.
