The municipality of Vilaller paid an emotional tribute to Dr. Joaquín Belilles Sánchez, who has ended his professional career after 43 years of practice, 28 of which were dedicated to the population of Alta Ribagorça. The event, organized by the Town Council, gathered nearly a hundred neighbors from Vilaller, Senet, and Casós.
Neighbors, entities, and institutions in Vilaller consider him part of the municipality's history due to his close, humane, and respectful care provided to several generations.
Born in Lleida in 1958, Dr. Belilles Sánchez began his relationship with Vilaller in 1990 with a one-year substitution, definitively consolidating his position in 1998. For almost three decades, he has attended generation after generation, earning the affection and respect of the entire community.
In addition to the popular recognition, the doctor also received a tribute from his healthcare colleagues at the CAP del Pont de Suert, where colleagues from the Alta Ribagorça region wanted to thank his dedication and professionalism throughout his extensive career.
