The gala, which took place in the Folch i Torres hall of the Casal de Calaf, premiered new artistic direction by Gemma Ripoll and was hosted by Jordi Aymerich, Jordi Rial, and Alba Anyé. The evening, framed within the Santa Calamanda Winter Festival, featured various local talent performances, including Nadyn Betancourt, Isaura Jiménez, and the company Polígonos.
One of the most significant moments was the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Els Pastorets de Calaf, an emblematic event for local popular culture. An emotional posthumous recognition was also given to Ramon Muntaner Castellana, a key figure in the founding and presidency of the Colla de Geganters i Grallers de Calaf. In the cultural sphere, the musical Matilda from the Escola d’Estiu del Casino de Calaf was awarded, and the Alta Segarra Culture Prize went to the Associació Cultural i Recreativa Sigarra for its 50 years of contribution.
Culture and sport are fundamental pillars for the cohesion and vitality of the municipality, and their promotion is essential for our future.
In the sports section, the achievements of the 2024-2025 season were highlighted. The record set by Gerard Regí i Esquius in the Haute Route Pyrénées stood out, where he completed 821 kilometers and over 48,000 meters of elevation gain. Likewise, the first senior men's team of the Unió Esportiva Calaf was recognized for being crowned champion of Quarta Catalana. The Alta Segarra Sports Prize was awarded to Ot Duocastella i Gallego for his regional projection.
