A-2 Reopens in Castellolí After Accident Caused Traffic Jams

The A-2 highway was reopened to traffic near Castellolí this Monday morning, after an accident forced the closure of the road heading towards Lleida for approximately one hour.

The Catalan Traffic Service reported that the incident, which occurred this morning, led to the closure of the highway in the direction of Lleida. During the closure, vehicles were diverted via exit 562 to minimize disruption.
Shortly after the closure, Traffic Service announced the highway's reopening. However, approximately one kilometer of traffic jams persisted due to the accident's aftermath.
Currently, the situation on the A-2 in Castellolí heading towards Lleida has fully normalized, and traffic flow is once again fluid, with no significant incidents.
