The Rodalies R4 line began the week of February 16 with severe complications, recording average delays of 20 minutes and forcing passengers to use bus bridges between Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Martorell.

Monday's commute was disrupted by speed limitations across the Catalan rail network. According to official reports before 9:00 AM, trains are experiencing significant delays between Sant Vicenç de Calders and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia. The most affected section connects to Martorell Central, where a replacement bus service is running every 30 minutes.
In the northern section of the line, the connection between Terrassa Estació del Nord and Manresa is being operated by a shuttle train every hour, supplementing road transport where tracks remain closed for maintenance or safety reasons.
Disruptions extend beyond the R4. The R1 line between Blanes and Maçanet-Massanes is also using alternative transport. Meanwhile, the R3 service remains suspended until May, and the R7 and R8 lines continue to face major alterations, requiring buses between Martorell and Granollers Centre.
