The Igualada City Council launched 48 new free parking spaces this week on Sant Carles street to improve mobility near the Masuca Market and the university campus.

The new orange zone is located in a strategic spot, next to the Health Sciences building of the Igualada university campus. These spaces offer free parking for up to 90 minutes, although drivers must obtain a ticket to monitor the duration of their stay.

The goal is to facilitate vehicle rotation and boost trade and services in the neighborhood.

Regulation hours are Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 20:00. Outside these hours and on Sundays, parking remains free and unrestricted for all users in this area of the Anoia capital.
