The Igualada Rigat team has concluded the OkLliga regular season in a remarkable third position, their best since the 2004-2005 season, after overcoming Voltregà 5-2 at Les Comes.

The 5-2 victory against Voltregà allowed the 'arlequinats' to secure third place, just one point behind the leader. This result marks the team's best league classification in nearly two decades, highlighting the squad's excellent form.
The match, played at Les Comes, began with an early lead for Voltregà, but the local team's reaction was swift. Marc Carol scored the equalizer in the 13th minute, and shortly after, Biel Llanes completed the comeback with a top-corner goal, making it 2-1 before halftime.
In the second half, Voltregà once again leveled the score with a direct free-hit goal. However, Igualada Rigat's response was immediate, with another goal from captain Marc Carol, restoring their lead. Subsequently, Joel Roma and Matías Pascual sealed the match with two more goals, setting the final score at 5-2.
This encounter also served as a farewell for several players who will not continue next season: Marc González, Arnau Martínez, Miguel Cañadillas, and Guillem Llorens. The club expressed its gratitude and recognition for their contributions.
Now, Igualada Rigat is preparing for the league title play-offs. Their quarter-final opponent will once again be Voltregà, in a best-of-three series. The first match will be played at Les Comes on May 17, the second in Sant Hipòlit on May 23, and a potential decisive third match would take place in Igualada on May 26.
