The official presentation of the event took place this Friday morning on the Lloret promenade, attended by the mayor, Adrià Lamelas, and the Councilor for Sports, Frederic Guich. Representatives from the Royal Spanish Skating Federation, including president Carmelo Paniagua and general director Xavier Moyano, as well as riders Lucas Sánchez and Carla Martín, were also present.
The Councilor for Sports, Frederic Guich, highlighted the competition's appeal and the combination of spectacular tricks with the seafront views. Mayor Adrià Lamelas emphasized the importance of consolidating Lloret as a benchmark for urban sports disciplines, recalling that the town hosted a round of the Vert Spanish Championship last year.
The competition begins on Saturday with Roller Freestyle and Skateboarding training sessions. Throughout the day, semifinals and spectacular events such as the Roller Big Air and the Skateboarding Big Air will take place. On Sunday, the finals for both disciplines will be decided, crowning the new Vert Spanish champions.
In addition to the competition, the promenade will host parallel activities open to everyone. On Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning, workshops will be offered for skate initiation, finger skate decoration, art, drawing, sticker creation, and temporary tattoos. There will also be an exhibition and live creation of a graffiti mural.
