Journalist Agnès Marquès will be the featured guest at the Converses series in Igualada on Monday, March 16, during a free public event organized by local Anoia media outlets.

The event will take place at the Ateneu Municipal Theater at 7:30 PM. Marquès, currently the director of Catalunya Nit on Catalunya Ràdio, will be interviewed by local journalist Mar Martí, head of the Catalan News Agency in Central Catalonia.
The visit follows Marquès receiving the XLVI Ramon Llull Prize for her latest novel, La segona vida de Ginebra Vern. The book follows a journalist whose life changes after writing a viral article about a personal scandal in a small Texas town, based on real events from 2014.

"It will stir her because she wonders how the lives of three people from a small Texas town can end up as consumption material for so many people."
