This victory allows the team from Berguedà to rejoin the leadership race, sitting just two points behind Fundació Terrassa. Regarding the Anoia teams, Vilanova del Camí secured a critically important victory in the local derby against the bottom-placed team, Fàtima (0-1). A solitary penalty goal by Ivan García, scored in second-half stoppage time, was enough to give Vilanova the three points. They now sit three points away from safety, while sinking the Igualada team further, leaving them thirteen points from salvation.
