The first major night of the solstice celebration in Sant Joan transformed the Hort del Carme into a festive gathering place, brimming with music and energy. The lineup featured three prominent names from the current music scene: Remei de Ca la Fresca, Mama Dousha, and the Valls-based group Incendi. Hundreds of attendees gathered at this emblematic location for an evening that extended into the early morning hours.
Remei de Ca la Fresca kicked off the night, debuting new songs and connecting with the audience through their energetic and original performance.
The second act was by Mama Dousha, recognized as one of the most distinctive voices in the new Catalan music scene. Their performance was one of the most acclaimed of the night.
The evening's closing act had a strong Valls connection with Incendi. This punk-rock band, composed of musicians from Valls and Lleida, took the stage after receiving the 2024 Enderrock Award for best rock album.
The concerts commenced at eleven at night and continued for several hours, turning the Hort del Carme into a major meeting point with great music, an engaged audience, and a festive atmosphere akin to a local fair.
