Residents of Vilanova del Camí have voted to select the urban improvement projects to be implemented in 2025 through the Anoia municipality's participatory budgeting process.

In Category A, which has a budget of 30,000 euros for general improvements, the winning proposal was sidewalk expansion with 43.5% of the votes. This option beat out improvements to the Can Papasseit community center.
Regarding Category B, with 10,000 euros allocated for security and sports, citizens prioritized the installation of surveillance cameras. This measure received 45.5% of the support, ahead of lighting improvements at Fluvial Park.

The Participatory Process is a key tool for citizens to directly decide on actions that improve their quality of life.

Finally, in Category C for everyday improvements (5,000 euros), benches with backrests were the preferred choice. Other projects included protection fences at the Johan Cruyff field and table tennis tables in local parks.
