The Town Council of Santa Margarida de Montbui hosted last Sunday the 11th Race and Walk against Cancer, which brought together 260 participants to promote healthy habits and support the fight against the disease.

The Montmercat space in Santa Margarida de Montbui was the setting for the solidarity event organized by the Association Against Cancer of Montbui. The event featured two modalities: a 5-kilometer walk and a 7-kilometer race, with routes combining urban and rural sections of the municipality.
The day unfolded in a festive and participatory atmosphere, with the presence of the mayor of Santa Margarida de Montbui, Jesús Miguel Juárez, and the Councilor for Public Health, Marcel Mateu, along with other municipal representatives. Residents from Montbui and other towns in the Anoia region joined the initiative.
With this eleventh edition, the Race and Walk against Cancer consolidates its solidarity and participatory character, promoting physical activity and citizen involvement in a cause that affects many people and families.
