The "Montbui Gran" program is concluding its schedule with the theatrical play "Les Dones del 36", by Joan Valentí and David Pintó, which will be performed this Saturday at 7 PM at Mont-Àgora. The show pays tribute to the women who fought during the Second Republic and the Civil War. Tickets cost 10 euros and can be purchased through the Cinemes Mont-Àgora website (www.cinemesmontagora.com) and in person at Mont-Àgora.
Over the past few weeks, the program has offered a wide range of leisure, cultural, and health activities to encourage the participation of seniors, promote healthy lifestyle habits, and create spaces for social interaction. Among the activities held were a gentle pilates taster, an informative talk on the Advance Healthcare Directive (DVA) by Núria Colomer, a social and community worker from CAP Montbui, a practical first aid workshop led by Abraham Moya, a Red Cross trainer, and a facial yoga workshop conducted by Judit Agüera.
The program also included an aquagym taster session, scheduled for Friday, October 16th, at 11 AM at Mont-Aqua. This free activity, with limited places and prior registration, will allow participants to discover the possibilities of physical exercise in water.
The Montbui Gran program, organized by the Department of Senior Citizens of the Santa Margarida de Montbui City Council, has aimed to foster coexistence and participation among the town's seniors.
