Alt Pirineu and Aran to Receive €542,000 to Boost Rural Micro-Enterprises

The Department of Agriculture has announced a new funding round of €542,000 for the Alt Pirineu and Aran region to support the creation and takeover of non-agricultural micro-enterprises.

Starting this Friday, March 20, entrepreneurs can apply for the Ticket Rural grants. Each selected project is eligible for a maximum of €35,000, aimed at stimulating local economic development and job creation in rural communities.
The funds are managed by local action groups: the Consorci LEADER Pirineu Occidental has been allocated €323.000, while the Consorci GAL Alt Urgell-Cerdanya will manage €219,000. These grants are 43% co-financed by the European EAFRD fund.
This 2023-2027 program cycle introduces a simplified documentation process to help applicants. The Generalitat de Catalunya has allocated a total of €3,000,000 across the territory for this specific initiative.
