The agreement aims to elaborate a numerical Occitan lexicon, both in the Aranese Occitan variety and in reference Occitan, with their Catalan equivalents. This initiative will allow Aranese to become part of the Dicod'Òc online dictionary, as well as other tools developed by Lo Congrès for the dissemination and revitalization of the language.
Lo Congrès, with extensive experience in automatic language processing, will be responsible for the drafting and development of the lexicon using advanced technical and lexicographical processes. The plan includes the automatic extraction of information and the creation of a first bidirectional Catalan–Occitan lexicon (reference and Aranese), with an estimated volume of between 20,000 and 30,000 entries for each direction.

The project includes the creation of an online platform for lexicon management. The data will be integrated into platforms such as Apertium, Revirada, and Dicod'Òc to facilitate public consultation. This agreement consolidates a collaboration initiated in 2020 and will allow the lexicon to be consulted from the Lo Congrès platform, the Aranese website (aranes.conselharan.org), and the “En aranés” application of the Conselh Generau d’Aran.
