The Naut Aran City Council has approved a motion to bring back Semana Blanca, a traditional winter school break, aiming to boost youth education and economic activity in the Pyrenees.

The proposal, led by spokesperson Marc Tarrau Leja from Unitat d'Aran, was supported by the governing Convergència Aranesa party. The initiative is viewed as a strategic move for social cohesion and local development.
The session also addressed transparency concerns regarding municipal credit card spending. The local government stated that, due to an ongoing legal case, documentation can only be reviewed in person by council members rather than being released publicly.
Discussions also touched upon the tourism tax, which will help fund the Country Rock Festival. Additionally, the council was urged to repair damaged sections of the C-28 highway and expedite the relocation of a waste collection point in Garòs.
