The Naut Aran Town Council has commenced construction work for a modern tourism office in Salardú's Querimònia square, with a total investment of 199,504.36 euros aimed at boosting the sector.

Of the total budget, 149,504.36 euros come from the council's own funds, while the remaining 50,000 euros are contributed by the Conselh Generau d’Aran, stemming from a collaboration agreement related to the tourist tax.
This agreement is part of the town council's rejoining Foment Torisme Val d’Aran, contributing the tourist tax corresponding to the second and third quarters of each year to the Conselh. Previously, until 2023, the contribution was based on the total annual funds received. The agreement also includes funding of 50,000 euros for this new office in Salardú and improvements to the existing office in Arties.
The civil works are expected to last three months. The start of the works was visited by the mayor of the Naut Aran Town Council, César Ruiz-Canela, and the syndic of Aran, Maria Vergés. Both emphasized the importance of revitalizing the tourism sector in the municipality and offering services adapted to current needs.

"This new tourism office will bring more value to our territory, and we believe it is an investment that strengthens this area. The project has partial funding from the Conselh Generau, thanks to the agreement we reached with them regarding the tourist tax. We continue to commit to a council for the present and future and for the well-being of all our residents."
