The Plenary Session of the Vielha e Mijaran City Council unanimously approved this Wednesday the Municipal Subsidies Strategic Plan for the 2026 and 2027 financial years, with a total budget of 138,775 euros.
The Strategic Plan aims to promote the participation of civil society and support projects of general interest developed by the associative fabric and individuals. Of the total 138,775 euros, €126,775 will be allocated to nominative and direct subsidies through agreements, while €12,000 will be for public concurrence subsidies.
Among the most notable items, the council allocates €38,775 to aid and collaborations in the education area for the various school centers. €29,000 is also assigned to the sports area, and €24,800 for promoting activities and maintaining the Casau deth Jubilat “Sant Miquèu” in Vielha.
The Plan includes aid for social rights, health and welfare, education, culture, youth, elderly people, and sports. Furthermore, during the same session, the plenary approved the specific modification of Special Plan number 12 for facilities on non-urbanizable land, related to the propane gas plant located in Beussa, and the creation of a study commission for the regulation of sociocultural equipment use.
