The Vincles Alt Pirineu-Aran project presented its 2023-2025 results this Thursday in Sort, revealing that 2,845 individuals over 55 are at risk of unwanted loneliness.

Operating across 30 locations, the program used 40 risk indicators to identify vulnerable residents. The initiative involved 250 community agents, including pharmacy staff and local shopkeepers, to create a detection network in areas affected by demographic aging.
Supported by Next Generation funds and the Generalitat de Catalunya, the project provided personalized support to 200 seniors and organized 400 community actions to reduce social isolation in the high mountain territories.
