For this new academic year, over 3,000 students are expected to participate in activities such as visits to the Bufalvent Environmental Park and the Secà Park. Practical workshops titled “Recycling Oil to Make Soap” and “Properties of Materials” will also be offered, alongside talks focusing on composting, sustainable development, and consumerism.
The shared project Ecociutat, aimed at high schools, will continue for its third consecutive year. This edition will involve three educational centers: Institut Lluís de Peguera in Manresa, Institut Escola Pompeu Fabra in El Pont de Vilomara, and Institut Escola Barnola in Avinyó, engaging over 200 students.
In parallel to the educational offerings of the Camp d’Aprenentatge, the Consorci del Bages also runs the program “La mòbil va a l’escola” (The Mobile Goes to School). This initiative, developed by the consortium, reaches more than 4,000 students annually.
As a new development, the environmental education activities of “La mòbil va a l’escola” now include new pedagogical material to explain bulky waste. This material consists of miniature pieces created by the Prelaboral Service of AMPANS.
