The removal of obstacles in the section between Neus Català i Pallejà square and Circumval·lació street has brought landmarks like Casa Padró Riera back into focus. This modernist building, designed by Bernat Pijoan i Sanmartí between 1914 and 1918, had been partially obscured for decades.
Other notable structures now visible include the Casa Padró Domènech, a 1903 masterpiece by Ignasi Oms i Ponsa, and the Casa Moll. The city's plan for the new Guimerà street involves placing trees and benches in the center of the road to ensure these historic facades remain visible to pedestrians.
