The PSC Federation of Bages, Berguedà, and Solsonès held a film forum in Manresa this weekend to emphasize the value of the Neighborhood Law and progressive social cohesion policies.

The event, which took place at the socialist headquarters in Manresa, screened the film El 47, a work that illustrates the neighborhood struggle and the dignity of working-class areas. This activity brought together militants, elected officials, and citizens to reflect on the right to a dignified life and the importance of public services.

The Neighborhood Law has been and continues to be a key tool for reducing inequalities, improving urban space, and strengthening social cohesion in our municipalities.

Following the screening, a round table was held, led by Elia Tortolero, the Federation's first secretary. Participants included the Mayor of Súria, Albert Coberó, and the former councilor of Manresa, Quim Garcia.
The Bages, Berguedà, and Solsonès Federation highlighted that the PSC Government has recovered the transformative spirit of the Neighborhood Law, adapting it to new social challenges, focusing on urban rehabilitation, the fight against segregation, and the improvement of quality of life in the neighborhoods.
