The Bombers de la Generalitat (Firefighters) carried out 80 interventions in the Central Emergency Region until Saturday evening, mostly due to incidents directly related to the heavy snow.

Most services focused on assisting vehicles stranded by the snow, with notable cases in Cardona and Santa Maria d'Oló. Numerous fallen trees were also reported, such as the incident in Riner, and small landslides that compromised road safety.

Citizens are asked to limit mobility, avoid unnecessary travel, and check traffic conditions before heading out onto the road.

Although the situation remains under control, emergency services continue to be on alert given the storm's evolution. Low temperatures and accumulated snow can still cause slips and slides on both main and secondary roads.
