Five judokas from the Esport7 club in Manresa traveled to Móstoles last weekend to participate in the Junior European Cup, facing the best athletes in the category.

The team, led by coach Maurici Casasayas, included Jordi Benito, Arnau Domínguez, Guillem Lozano, Ariadna Álvarez, and Luca de Palma. Although none of the athletes managed to reach the final rounds, the competition provided a high-level testing ground against elite opponents from Georgia, Israel, and France.
The female representatives, Álvarez and De Palma, were eliminated in the first round by opponents who eventually secured bronze medals. The club emphasizes that this international experience is vital for the development of the Manresa-based athletes for future season goals.
