The cultural collective Jueus de l'Aixada has expressed its desire to move its performances back to the historic Jewish quarter (call) of Manresa, which is currently closed due to construction works.

The group, a key part of the Aixada Fair, hopes to perform in the area behind Manresa City Hall. The site is currently undergoing archaeological excavations and the construction of the new Bages County Archive, making it inaccessible for safety reasons.

"We aspire to perform in the Jewish quarter of Manresa, but unfortunately excavations are underway and for safety reasons it is not possible."

In the meantime, the group has established itself at Sant Ignasi Malalt Square. Despite the steep slope that makes dancing difficult, the Jueus de l'Aixada have made the space their own, and it is now used by other performers during the medieval festival.
