The city of Manresa celebrated the main events of the Festa de la Llum this Saturday, featuring the traditional human tower at the Carme church and the 'tronada' in the main square.

The day began with the Tirallongues human tower group successfully performing a 'pilar de 4' on the stairs of the Carme church. This traditional feat was followed by a massive gathering in the Plaça Major for the thunderous 'tronada' firecracker event, ignited by Mayor Marc Aloy.
The celebration also served as a tribute to Lolita Rovira Borràs and Joan Lladó Casals, two prominent figures in local folk culture who recently passed away. The community honored them with traditional dances and the sardana Un sentiment.
