Several city councils in Central Catalonia, such as Manresa and Solsona, held minutes of silence this Wednesday at noon to mourn the two fatalities caused by the recent Storm Harry.

Several consistories showed their condolences for the two fatalities caused by Storm Harry in Catalonia: a man swept away by the stream in Palau-sator (Baix Empordà) and the trainee train driver who died in the rail accident in Gelida (Alt Penedès).
In Central Catalonia, towns such as Manresa, Solsona, and Igualada joined the call, holding minutes of silence around noon or shortly after, at half past twelve.
The expressions of condolence extended to the main institutions. The Parliament of Catalonia held a minute of silence in front of the façade, led by the chamber's president, Josep Rull, and the members of the Bureau.
In parallel, the Generalitat and the Barcelona City Council convened another simultaneous event at 12:30 p.m. in the Plaça de Sant Jaume. Some councils also extended their condolences to the victims of the railway accident in Adamuz, Córdoba.
