Mònica Clemente wins Spanish Indoor Pole Vault Championship in Valencia

The Manresa-born athlete secured her second national indoor title as local club Avinent achieves two finalist positions.

Manresa athlete Mònica Clemente was crowned Spanish indoor pole vault champion this Sunday at the Lluís Puig velodrome in Valencia, confirming her status as the national leader in the discipline.

Competing for Diputación de Valencia, Clemente secured the gold medal with a successful jump of 4.35 meters. This victory marks her second indoor national title, following her 2018 win, and completes a golden double after her outdoor championship victory last summer.
The final day of the championships also saw strong performances from the Avinent Manresa club. Emília del Hoyo finished seventh in the 60m hurdles, while Marina Guerrero took eighth place in the 1,500m race, adding to the regional success in Valencia.
